To political prisoners in Mexico

I am Esteban Gómez Jimenez, I am here in the centre for social reintegration of the sentenced no IV in el Amate in the Ejido Lazaro Cardenas, municipality of Cintalapa Figueroa.

ESTEBVANThey accused me of assault, of carrying a weapon, homicide (4 charges); I have now spent two years in prison, they put me in prison on 12th June but I am innocent, I call on you to help me to gain my freedom.

I call for national and international solidarity to help me achieve my freedom, I was imprisoned for organising and defending Mother Earth.

I greet all the political prisoners in the country.

I say goodbye and ask you to be attentive to my situation because I am unjustly imprisoned.


Esteban Gomez Jimenez

Esteban Gomez Jimenez, prisoner since 2013 in Playas de Catazajá and then transferred to El Amate. Accused by the PRI/Green party member Manuel Jimenez Moreno from the community of Pamalhá of an assault which he did not commit, for which he was imprisoned. Once in prison, he was charged with other crimes.
